RonTech AG takes over Formtec AG - Chur becomes new production site

On November 1st, 2024, RonTech from Felsberg will take over Formtec AG in Chur, thereby continuing its business plans. Formtec AG, founded in Chur in 1989, manufactures injection molds and molded parts for a global customers from a wide range of industries. RonTech and Formtec have enjoyed a business relationship for over 30 years.

The special machine manufacturer for feeding systems in the packaging industry from Felsberg is taking over all employees at the site in Chur and is thus relying on a well-established team with many years of experience in parts production. “We are looking forward to the new production site and the dedicated employees. We want to give them a secure future,” says Bruce Meier, CEO of RonTech AG. “In view of the development of the pharmaceutical, medical technology and food industries, the new production site in Chur is a fixed factor in our planning.”

With the acquisition of Formtec, RonTech is not only strengthening its production capacities, but is also actively promoting the region as a business location and helping to secure regional jobs.
